The Independent published a story back at the beginning of December which muted the notion that the attitudes of the traditional publishers may be causing #Authors not to approach them but to seek opportunities in the #self-publishing marketplace.
It suggested that responses of rejection being sent to eager Authors were rude and sometimes even arrogant and causing a possible shift towards #self-publishing – good news for us if this is the case.
I think that anyone sending their work to a traditional publisher does so with a certain expectation of rejection but hoping that someone would pick it up and think it was the next JK Rowling.
